Throughout your journey at TII you can take advantage of a wide range of student services, events and opportunities designed to support your study and ensure you make the most of your time with us.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
ORIENTATION -YOUR FIRST DAY
If you have any questions or problems on your first day or during your time at TII, we have many people who can help you:
Talk to the student service staff about your host family;
Talk to the academic staff about your study plans;
Talk to the administration staff about your visa, insurance, or changing your course.
We also have first language support staff available on call who can speak Chinese, Arabic and Portuguese. Just let us know and we will be happy to assist. If you wish to speak another language we can find someone to help you.
INSURANCE SUPPORT
It’s compulsory for all TII international students to hold current travel and medical insurance cover while studying with us. If you’d like help organising your insurance, we can arrange a suitable policy for you through our preferred insurance provider Orbit & Southern Cross. With specialised plans designed for New Zealand bound international students, they offers quality protection at an affordable price.
VISA APPLICATION SUPPORT
Let us know what you need and we are more than happy to assist. Our team of specialists is committed to assisting you in any step of your learning journey - before and after your arrival in New Zealand.

RECREATION &Â SPORT
There are lots of sporting and recreational opportunities at TII to get fit or just unwind and have fun with your fellow learners.
In Christchurch you can become a member of our modern, well-equipped gym to improve your workout results using state-of-the-art facilities at The TII Gym.
