ORIENTATION -YOUR FIRST DAY
If you have any questions or problems on your first day or during your time at TII, we have many people who can help you:
Talk to the student service staff about your host family;
Talk to the academic staff about your study plans;
Talk to the administration staff about your visa, insurance, or changing your course.
We also have first language support staff available on call who can speak Chinese, Arabic and Portuguese. Just let us know and we will be happy to assist. If you wish to speak another language we can find someone to help you.
It’s compulsory for all TII international students to hold current travel and medical insurance cover while studying with us. If you’d like help organising your insurance, we can arrange a suitable policy for you through our preferred insurance provider Orbit & Southern Cross. With specialised plans designed for New Zealand bound international students, they offers quality protection at an affordable price.
